The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children’s® (NCMEC) was established in 1984 as a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to help prevent child abduction and sexual exploitation; help find missing children; and assist victims of child abduction and sexual exploitation, their families, and the professionals who serve them.

NCMEC seeks a technical coordinator to support and oversee quality control on all incoming and outgoing NCIC/Nlets entries and message traffic at the NCMEC. This individual will be a liaison to Nlets and provide technical support on grant activities and pilot programs involving NCMEC. This position will provide applicable training and work with leadership to ensure all NCIC/Nlets policy compliance.

This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, criminal justice or a related field. Certification and experience in the use of NCIC and Nlets systems and a minimum of three (3) years law enforcement or related experience are a requirement.

Successful candidates should have demonstrated familiarity with law enforcement websites such as LEO and RISS. Knowledge of police procedures and methodology are a plus. Candidate must also have the ability to be on call and work flexible hours to include afternoons, weekends and evenings. Ability to travel is needed.
