Intelligence and National Security Program at Point Park (Intelligence Analysis Program)

The intelligence and national security program at Point Park is one the first three programs of its type in the country. The Bachelor of Science in intelligence and national security uses broad course work to prepare you for entry-level career opportunities as you seek to uphold our standards of security.

Language skills, critical thinking, analytical skills, strategic thinking, ethical behavior — all are necessary and woven throughout the curriculum. Intelligence and national security majors meet professionals from local federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies while being taught by adjunct professors who work for these agencies.


Criminal Justice and Intelligence Analysis (Intelligence Analysis Program)

The Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Intelligence Analysis provides the student with a broad understanding of the criminal justice system as it pertains to crime analysis, intelligence, and crime forecasting. The student will examine the complexities of the role of the intelligence analyst from the perspective of a homeland security professional. Graduates of this program will be prepared to seek entry-level opportunities or advance in career fields including private investigations, security, technology, probation, and law enforcement.

Certificate in Intelligence Analysis - University of Maryland (Intelligence Analysis Program)

The objective of the Certificate Program in Intelligence Analysis is to develop proficiency in a uniform set of core conceptual competencies and skills that all those involved in the support of major national security and intelligence agencies should possess, as well as additional tools important to particular forms of intelligence analysis.

Current and future intelligence analysts will benefit from completion of this certificate program. The certificate consists of four, three-credit courses (12 graduate academic credits) and is offered in several formats including semester-long courses and condensed, executive formats. All course sessions incorportate a variety of teaching styles, and students' learning in the classroom is reinforced through enrichment experiences such as brown-bag lunch seminars with leading thinkers and practitioners in the field.

Certificate in Intelligence Analysis - Notre Dame College (Intelligence Analysis Program)

Students will gain the knowledge and basic skills to work as analysts in national security, law enforcement, and the private sector. Instructors are current or retired intelligence professionals with extensive experience as intelligence professionals. Offered by an accredited institution of higher learning, the certificate can be earned in less than one year through the convenience of online course offerings.

Certificates in Intelligence Analysis - Henley-Putnam University (Intelligence Analysis Program)

The Entry Level Certificate is designed to give the professional in the intelligence analysis field or the student who is considering getting in the field, a more comprehensive understanding of how to employ sound critical thinking when examining and assessing the validity of various arguments and the value of diverse sources of information.

The Mid Level Certificate is designed for the professional who already has some experience in the intelligence analysis field or the student who has taken the entry level certificate to further learn about the Intelligence Cycle, how intelligence is prepared, and how it is used to inform decision and policy makers.

The Senior Level Certificate is designed for the intelligence analyst professional who wants to better understand the finer points of advanced analysis, including how to present briefings geared to the context of the intelligence consumer.

Intelligence Degrees and Certificates - Mercyhurst College (Intelligence Analysis Program)

Mercyhurst’s Department of Intelligence Studies offers a bachelor of arts degree in intelligence studies, a master of science degree in applied intelligence and a graduate certificate in applied intelligence that will provide an education essential to students who want to pursue a career as an intelligence analyst.

Intelligence Analysis Certificate - Central Penn College (Intelligence Analysis Program)

This 18-credit Intelligence Analysis certificate program provides students with the specialized knowledge and skills required by those who are employed as intelligence analysts by government, national security, criminal justice, military and corporate agencies.

Certificate in Intelligence Analysis - American Military University (Intelligence Analysis Program)

Intelligence Studies is one of the flagship programs at American Military University. These well balanced and academically rigorous programs are well respected throughout the intelligence community and prepare students to enter into or advance their careers in the areas of intelligence analysis, collections, operations or a variety of intelligence related fields. All courses are conducted using open source materials, so no security clearance is required. Course discussions are highly relevant because our faculty have extensive experience in intelligence and students are drawn from a variety of backgrounds.

Intelligence Studies Certificate - Neumann University (Intelligence Analysis Program)

The Intelligence Studies Certificate Program is an online program that consists of courses in topics such as terrorism, intelligence analysis, organized crime, money laundering, drug smuggling, and human trafficking. The program, which can be completed within 18 months, prepares adult learners for jobs and new careers in intelligence analysis with law enforcement agencies as well as positions that involve problem-solving and analytical thinking in private industry and other types of organizations.
