Gwen M. Udell is currently teaching Crime Analysis, Crime Mapping, and Applied Criminal Behavior at George Mason University in Manassas, VA. Prior to this, she served as a Crime Analyst and then the Crime Analysis Unit Supervisor at the Prince William County Police Department in Woodbridge, Virginia for 13+ years. She has been a presenter at the International Association of Crime Analysts (IACA) Conferences and the Virginia Crime Analysis Network (VCAN) Symposiums. She was a member of the VCAN Public Affairs Committee, VCAN Webmaster and served as Chair on the IACA Bylaws Review committee. Over the years, she has assisted with numerous high profile major cases including the DC area Snipers, USMC Shootings and served as a member of the East Coast Rapist Task Force.
