Stacy Belledin

Stacy Belledin is a crime analyst with the Lakewood (CO) Police Department, nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, where she has been employed for four years. Previously, Stacy was the manager of the Crime Analysis Unit for the Jacksonville (FL) Sheriff’s Office, a city-county consolidated police department with over 1600 sworn officers and 17 analysts in the unit. Before receiving a supervisory position, she worked as a crime analyst for six years, serving as the lead analyst on the Investigative and Intelligence team of analysts, the Violent Crimes Task Force analyst, and the liaison to the homicide, robbery, sex crimes, and missing persons units. She has been named Civilian Employee of the Month twice and has received numerous commendations. Stacy has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Indiana University, and a Master’s Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies from Florida State University. Stacy was formerly President of the Florida Crime and Intelligence Analysts Association, and is active within the International Association of Crime Analysts. Stacy is also an instructor for the Crime Mapping and Analysis Program, is a member of the NIJ Geospatial Technology Workgroup, and is an adjunct faculty member at Tiffin University.
