Tracey Lowey

Tracey is currently a Crime and Intelligence Analyst with Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit. During her tenure with the Calgary Police Service she has worked in the Organized Crime Section, Gang Unit and Drug Unit. In 1996 she earned a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. She is currently an Instructor at Mount Royal University where she teaches Crime and Intelligence Analysis and at Tutor for Athabasca University in the Criminal Justice Program. In 2010 Tracey became an instructor for the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEIA), Foundation of Intelligence Analysis Training Program (FIAT). Her experience has provided the necessary credibility to teach from a law enforcement perspective and combined with her academic knowledge, she is able to illustrate the value of crime analysis in law enforcement.
