The International Association of Crime Analysts is pleased to announce our 30th annual Training Conference in Chicago, Illinois. The conference will be held August 24-28, 2020 at the Palmer House Hilton Hotel.
We invite you to share your experience and expertise with your colleagues at this year’s conference. Please consider presenting on your best practices, case studies, techniques and solutions. The IACA welcomes proposals from introductory through advanced levels on a variety of topics including (but not limited to):
- Crime or intelligence analysis case studies – these are not restricted to tactical analysis; they can include special projects, redistricting, workload allocations or anything similar
- Investigative or analytical techniques
- Crime Statistics
- Analyzing specialty data sets such as cell site data, unstructured text, etc.
- Hands-on computer training – this includes applications such as MS Excel, MS Access, Crime Mapping, Crystal Reports, SQL, or similar computer-based programs.
We have many attendees from Canada, Mexico, Europe, South and Central America, the Caribbean, and Asia regularly attending this conference, and that number is growing each year. We strongly encourage members from countries outside the United States to submit presentation proposals.
