Limited Scholarship Award - U.S. MemberSubmission period: March 2025 To assist IACA members who have never attended an IACA annual training conference, the Awards & Recognition Committee has created a conference scholarship that will be awarded to one member from the United States. Unlimited Scholarship AwardSubmission period: April 2025 To assist IACA members who lack funding for training, the IACA Board and the Awards and Recognition Committee has created a conference scholarship that will be awarded to one member at random. Membership AwardSubmission period: April 2025 The Membership Award was created to honor ANY individual who has made an exceptional contribution to the field of crime and/or intelligence analysis in their unit, agency or community; or exceptional contributions to the IACA in particular. Nominees may be from national, federal, state or local criminal justice agencies; may be legislators, members of academia or members of the private sector. Individuals nominated for this award DO NOT have to be IACA members and DO NOT have to be an analyst. Bryan Hill Memorial Scholarship AwardSubmission period: May 2025 The Bryan Hill Memorial Scholarship Award was created to recognize an individual who embodies the same “Spirit of Service” for which Bryan was well known. Individuals nominated for this award MUST be a current IACA member. This is a great way to recognize a member who has contributed to the professional success of another, or many, by sharing knowledge, examples, and/or time freely and selflessly. Analytical Product ContestSubmission period: June 2025 Members have the opportunity to submit analytical products for the annual contest. Steve Gottlieb/Alpha Group Center Award for Creativity and ExcellenceSubmission period: June 2025The Steve Gottlieb/Alpha Group Center Award for Creativity and Excellence was designed to encourage and recognize an IACA member’s development and implementation of an original, creative and unique idea, plan or program that successfully curtailed or eliminated a crime problem or quality of life issue, enhanced the efficiency or effectiveness of a public safety organization or who, by some imaginative means, has made a significant, and preferably replicable, contribution to the field of crime/intelligence analysis.
